About the Park
Blanco is a small park along about a mile of the Blanco River right in the town of Blanco. Civilian Conservation Corps crews built its dams, picnic areas, and stonework in the 1930s, and the dams create calm pools for swimming, tubing, and fishing.
Its size makes it an easy weekend: the campsites are a short walk from the water and the town square is a few blocks away.
