About the Park
Colorado Bend covers more than five thousand acres along the Colorado River northwest of Lampasas. Gorman Falls, a roughly seventy-foot spring-fed travertine waterfall draped in ferns and moss, is the reason most people make the drive, and Spicewood Springs offers a chain of clear swimming pools on the way.
About thirty-five miles of trail cross the park, plus guided wild-cave tours and primitive camping along the river.
